Thank you to everyone who signed up for a visit during yesterday's BID and Police patch walk. The feedback we received was extremely valuable and has helped us identify the key issues affecting businesses across the town centre.

 

Due to the positive response, we will be arranging another patch walk in the autumn. If you would like us to visit your business to discuss any concerns or identify ways we can support you, please get in touch.

 

Our Business Security Grant Scheme is still open, and we have already approved a number of applications. This is an excellent opportunity to improve your business security with financial support. We also have fewer than 10 business radios and 10 body-worn cameras remaining, both available on a free trial basis. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please let us know and we will arrange delivery and training for your staff.

 

We're pleased to confirm that daytime Street Security patrols have now been secured until March 2027. We are also continuing discussions with partners to explore funding opportunities for the night-time economy patrols.

• Crime prevention measures
• Improving the security of your premises
• Staff safety and best practice
