Loughborough businesses vote YES for the BID!
Following four months of consultation with businesses across Loughborough, the Love Loughborough BID has been voted in for a fourth five year term with an overwhelming 96% of businesses voting YES.
The Love Loughborough team has been in touch with businesses across the town to discuss priorities for the next five years which include street security, events, recycling and how we can work together to create a safe and welcoming town for residents and visitors to enjoy.
There were 236 votes cast and 227 of these voted in favour of the Business Improvement Area for Love Loughborough.
The aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voted in the ballot is £8,549,150
The aggregate rateable value of each hereditament in respect of which a person voted in the ballot has voted in favour of the proposed Business Improvement District for Love Loughborough £8,356,650
This provides the team with a great opportunity to build in the success of the last five years and continue to develop new opportunities, campaigns and initiatives to improve business.
