Businesses in Loughborough Town centre have voted strongly in favour of a fourth 5 year term for the Love Loughborough Business Improvement District (BID), starting on 1st April 2027.
In the ballot the majority of votes was a 'YES'.
The Declaration Result will be posted on our website next week showing the breakdown of votes and rateable value.
Love Loughborough Chair, Lez Cope-Newman said “We’re obviously delighted with the result which is a positive step forward for the future of the town centre and Loughborough as a whole. We are grateful to the businesses for this endorsement of our work so far and look forward to working with them to deliver the exciting new business plan proposals over the next five years. I’d like to thank the BID management team and my fellow Directors for all their hard work, as well as the Borough and County Councils and our many delivery partners”.
