Please be aware that the current funding for the Street Security Night Time Economy initiative ended as of 28th March 2026. Unfortunately Leicestershire police could not extend this funding as part of their Hotspot scheme. However, we do recognise the importance of this scheme and the significant benefits it brings to the night time economy.

 

We are actively exploring alternative funding options to enable the continuation of this work. This includes discussions around potential partnership opportunities with the local university and other stakeholders.

 

We remain committed to supporting this vital initiative and will provide a further update as soon as we have confirmed the next steps.
