Thank you to everyone who has responded to last week’s email about the enhanced security patrols in the town centre.
We have spoken with retailers, Charnwood Borough Council and Leicestershire Police about the ongoing issues. BID has provided extra street patrols and are exploring options for the future. BID is meeting with the Leicestershire Police Response team next week to feedback your concerns and the ongoing issues in Loughborough.
We understand that Leicestershire Police have taken onboard the feedback from the BID and a project plan is being put into place with a view to having extra patrols in the area. Unfortunately this information will not be ready for the proposed meeting next week, so we will have to postpone the meeting.
It will now be held at 5pm on Monday 24th November at John Storer House
