Spooktacular fun in Loughborough this half term

There’s lots going on in Loughborough for families this October half term including the Love Loughborough Pumpkin Trail which started on Monday 20th October and the Halloween event on Sunday 26th October.

The Pumpkin Trail includes twenty eight businesses in the town centre who all have pumpkins in their shop windows for families to discover.  Pick up one of the competition forms which have all the details on them and following the trail around the town to discover the letters on the pumpkins to create a spooky word and be in with a chance of wining a £50 Love Loughborough Gift Voucher.  You can also download the FREE Love Loughborough App and follow the trail to discover all the hidden pumpkins.
The Pumpkin Trail will be live between Monday 20th October – Sunday 2nd November.

On Sunday 26th October there’s a Harry Potter themed Halloween event taking place at the Odeon in Loughborough town centre.  The event will run between 10.30am – 2.30pm and will include lots of spooktacular fun including:

  • Creating your own witch or wizard
  • Spells and potions class
  • Face painting
  • Fancy dress competition

Charnwood Borough Council will also be presenting an outdoor cinema in the Market Place at 12.30pm, 3pm and 5.30pm when they’ll be showing Hotel Transylvania, Hocus Pocus and Ghostbusters.  It’s free to attend so wrap up warm and join us for a cosy movie experience.
Finally the Loughborough on a Plate promotion continues throughout October.  There are lots of mouth watering offers and discounts at cafes, restaurants and takeaways across the town centre including deals on sweet treats, coffee and cake, burgers, curries and takeaways.
