We’ve started September with another great event. The Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair took place in the town centre on Sunday with lots of new traders joining us and a great atmosphere (despite the brief downpour!)
As we head into autumn, we’ve got lots of events planned including:
- Sunday 5th October – Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair – including Dog Fest for all your furry friends. Bring your dog along to our agility courses, there will be judging and prizes and lots of gifts to browse on the market.
- Sunday 12th October – Welcome to Loughborough Open Market – for freshers and returning students.
- Sunday 26th October, 10.30am – 2.30pm, Odeon Cinema, Cattlemarket - Love Loughborough Halloween event – this event will be Harry Potter themed, please contact manager@loveloughborough.co.uk. if you’d like to get involved or will be theming your window display or theming your menus and we’ll include you in our promotions.
- Sunday 30th November – Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Christmas Fair
- Sunday 14th December – SteamPunk themed market
We are also running a number of promotional campaigns during September and October including:
- Welcome to Loughborough – Freshers’ campaign – this is a targeted campaign for both new and returning students. It will include a student trail on the Love Loughborough app, where businesses can showcase offers to students. If you have an offer you would like to put forward, please email: manager@loveloughborough.co.uk. As part of the campaign we’ll be running a competition at the University and College Freshers Fairs and a Welcome to Loughborough Open Market in the town centre on 12th October showcasing everything the town has to offer. If you are interested in a stall on the 12th October, the cost is £30 for BID members and you can register your interest via the form on our website.
- Loughborough on a Plate – this is a month long campaign running throughout October to encourage families to eat and drink out in the town. The campaign will feature special offers and deals from restaurants, café, coffee shops and bars which will be promoted to the family marketing particularly around the half term holidays. - Pumpkin Trail - Businesses are invited to get involved in this autumn’s trail which will run between Monday 20th October – Sunday 2nd November. Once you sign up, we’ll provide you with a purple pumpkin with a letter to display so visitors can discover and spell out a spooktacular movie. To be involved in this campaign, business must agree to dress their window/shop fronts. The deadline to sign up is: 30th September.
