Update from Loughborough BID
Merry Christmas from the Love Loughborough team

As we head towards the end of the year, we’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.

It’s been a busy twelve months, with lots of successful events, promotions and campaigns including the Gardeners’ Fair, the Trike and Bike Meet, the Car Show as well as new events including PetFest and the Freshers Fair.  New campaigns have included Cocktail Week and Halloween, and our monthly business spotlights have focused on Church Gate, Wards End/Devonshire Square and the evening economy.

Our Christmas campaign has included the Elf on a Shelf promotion with 34 businesses taking part, the festive Gardeners’ Fair which took place on the 8th December despite Storm Daragh causing mayhem!, and our final event of this year will be the Christmas Food and Drink Festival on Sunday 22nd December.

We’re already working on plans for next year, including developing these events further to help to increase visitors to the town and new campaigns including the January business spotlight which will be on Ashby Road. If you are a business in that area then please get in touch and we can include you in our online promotion.
